Spotlighted Open Grants
Play Our Way Grant Applications
Applications will close at 2 pm on 29 April 2024 (AEST).
The Government’s $200 million Play Our Way Program is aimed at addressing the barriers women and girls face when participating in sport and physical activity.
The Grant Opportunity will fund projects across 2 streams:
- Facilities – to support new and upgraded facilities, playing areas, or spaces for sport and physical activity
- Participation and equipment – to support sustainable and enduring sport participation programs and/or new or upgraded equipment.
This will help to ensure all experiences are safe, equitable, accessible, inclusive and sustainable for women in sport. The grant program is now open for eligible local governments and community, not-for-profit and sporting organisations to deliver projects that make sport more welcoming and equitable for women and girls across the two streams above.
